With three bonus points in the time trial, Thuy took back the green jersey from Do Tuan Anh of Domesco Dong Thap in the sprint competition with 52 points, followed by Anh with 51 points and Duan with 50 points. Although Duan won the 15th stage, it wasn’t enough for Sai Gon to take control of the team competition. The Mongolian team had a solid performance to maintain the lead in both the individual and teams events.

Tuguldur Tuulkhangai holds the yellow jersey (best overall time) with a total time of 46:32.59 after 15 stages.

Ho Van Phuc of ADC-Vinh Long Television and Duan are in second and third place, respectively.

Tuguldur’s success helped his team lead the team ranking with a combined time of 139:43.30.
