THE Davao Team A-Inday Sara riders lived up to their billing by clocking a total
of 11 hours, 45 minutes and 13.084 seconds to win the first stage of the Race
for Peace 1st Mindanao Tour on Thursday.

Inday Sara's Dexter Nonato registered a clocking of 3:52:50.82, while Melchor
Labaya Jr. timed 03:56:06.131. Glen Yap finished with 3:56:16.131 the
153-kilometer Davao City to General Santos City stage.

Davao City Team B University of Mindanao (UM) that was bannered by JL Berame,
Hilario Ladra and M. Aleonar came second with accummulated 11:45:33.084 while
Team Gensan of A. dela Peña, J. Geraga and G. Padernal placed third with
12:00:27.137.

Davao-UM's Berame finished after 3:58:37.374 while Ladra and Aleonar followed
with identical 3:56:16.131 record.
