Was compeeting from 1965 until end off 1972.The main reason
for me to stop cycling is that the Belgium Cycling federation dit not allow me to go to the Olympic Games in Munich 1972 altho i whas 8th best worldtime in individual persuut with à time off 3Min.49 sec but they told me that
my record time could not count,becourse off lack off electronic time mesearement instruments and not enough official cronometers present in Antwerp.At the age off 21 i
did not had a contract to become professional,so i stopped cycling to get married
